What does Nice France Weather affect?

Nice France weather is indeed affected by the Mediterranean Sea. So it is often referred to Nice’s climate as Mediterranean. The summer season lasts for 6 months, which includes the months from May to October. That is considered to be the holiday season as well. Sometimes though in April and November there are temperatures above 20 °C. Apart from summer, winter is really mild, with average temperatures of 13.4 °C during the day and in the night the temperatures are approximately 5.8 °C. During this period of time temperatures do not usually go bellow 20°C. That is usual for the time before November. Then days start to cool down and the temperatures get about 17°C. In winters, the days are with temperatures 11 to 17°C, the nights are cool with approximately 4 to 9°C but the weather changes really often. Days could be sunny and dry or they could be also damp and rainy. It is unusual to have frost or snowfalls. They are extremely rare and usually they are remembered by the people who live in Nice as special events. The average minimum temperature in January is around 5°C. Spring begins with mild temperatures and rainy in late March, and then warms up and becomes sunny as time passes until June.

Nice is one of the most populous cities in France, taking its fifth place after Paris, Marseille, Lyon and Toulouse. The population of the city is around 348,700 people and it is situated on a land with 71.92 km2. However, the urban area of Nice includes areas beyond the city’s administrative limits and extends the population to over 955,000 on an area of 721 km2. The city is located on the south east coast of France on the Mediterranean Sea. Actually, Nice is well known to be the second biggest city situated in France on the Mediterranean coast.
